With the dates now locked in, it’s time to start counting down to another unforgettable summer of comedy, cabaret, circus, and chaos as local legends and global stars transform Ōtautahi into one giant stage. For more than three decades, World Buskers Festival has transformed Christchurch into a giant open-air stage, where street performers, circus artists, comedians, musicians and creative mischief-makers bring the unexpected to life.

We’re inviting proposals from emerging and established artists across all performance styles, including Māori and Pasifika arts, street theatre, circus, comedy, music and contemporary performance.
